Synth Pop From Bec Sandrige

This song took me a little while to get into it, but even in the first listen there was this striking quality to the vocals that pushed me to listen again. Bec Sandrige is an Australian act who makes disco pop that will set your feet to dancing and “In The Fog, In The Flame,” is no exception. Though groovy even at the outset, the synths slowly make their appearance in the track, but the vocals are distinctive and unique: at once strong and soft, warbling through the lyrics. Then those synths begin to soar through and what you have is a strong pop song with a catchy chorus. Listen below to this first song off the recently released In The Fog EP.
