I’m in Love with This Golden Suits Tune

The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve really given my attention to great pop songs and great songwriting. I mean, what’s wrong with totally immersing yourself in a great song, like this Golden Suits tune below. There are elements that remind me of the heavier side of indie-folk (think Bazaan amped up), but the deep tonal quality of the vocals also leans a little bit towards the hook-laden era of The National. For me, neither of those things hurt, and that’s why I’m looking forward to this Friday’s release of Kubla Khan, the band’s new LP. You should be looking too!
