New Music from Rory McVicar

I’ve let Rory McVicar grace our little site before, and his newest song is proof that I was on to something special. It begins in almost a melancholy fashion, slowly unfolding from the opening moments…give it about a minute. Then, just as you settled, the drums kick in, there’s a bit of a bounce and the song takes on almost an indiepop fashion. Eventually, the song fades out into experimental drones, but the impression should have been felt from the get-go. You’ll hear this track on Rory’s new record Wednesday Week, which comes out in the very near future.
