When one listens to the latest Wyyrrd single, you get the feeling like they’re straddling the present and the past; you can hear these huge ringing riffs, hitting hard and pulling from an almost classic rock catalog. When contrasted with the warmth of the vocal work, the tune begins to take on a different shape, creating this sort of darkened club set up, buoyed by the track’s latter half explosiveness.
