More New Music From Creative Adult

creativeLast month Mr. Lankford shared a new song with your guys from Creative Adult and we all enjoyed the raw punk sound that the band could bring.  This new joint, “Far Out”, is more of the same gritty, screaming, punk rock n roll sound that most of us at ATH enjoy on a regular basis.  Stream the track and let us know what ya think.  Don’t forget that the band will be stopping in for SXSW and they are not one to be missed!

Psychic Mess will be available on February 25th via Run For Cover Records.

New Creative Adult Rocker

creativeadultRayRay and I have been talking about it being a rather slow year for some really solid rock n’ roll.  We’ve gotten our fix of indiepop and jangle pop and just regular indie pop, but we need something like this tune from Creative Adult to really fuel our drive.  This tune opens with some noise before the rhythmic pulse of noise and shouting enter the mix; you can just imagine the throngs of concert-goers thrashing about as this song plays loud over your favorite club’s speakers.  It even slows down for some discordant melody to close the track out.  You can grab their new album Psychic Mess on February 25th, plus check them out at SXSW!

Cool New Tune from Creative Adult

Promo2.1When I first listened to this new track from Creative Adult, as you might be doing now, the vocals took a second to sink in; they sounded as if they were almost slurred into the microphone.  But, the more I listened to it, the more I realized that it couldn’t be anything but that vocal to make this song so hauntingly enchanting.  Mood wise, it’s definitely a dark song, with the swirling guitar ring leaving a post-rock taste in your mouth.  It’s heavy, but it’s not fast…I appreciate a band that will mix it up.  You can grab the band’s new Bulls in the Yard EP on May 7th courtesy of Run for Cover.
