Ancient Warfare should be riding high after all the praise for their 2015 album, The Pale Horse. But, more importantly, the Kentucky quartet is making their way to SXSW for their first time. He’s been in and around Austin quite a bit, playing with friends and recording, so he’s familiar with the scene, but then again, SXSW is a whole different animal. Haelos are going to be one of the hotter tickets at SXSW this year, especially with the release of their album, Full Circle, coming in at the end of the festival (March 18th). They’re definitely in my Top Ten list of acts to catch this year, so we were fortunate enough to catch up with Dom Goldsmith from the group before they make their way to Austin.

It’s that time of year again kids. You guessed it, it’s time for us to start prepping for everyone’s favorite good time in March… SXSW. As usual, we will be doing everything we can to get you people ready and prepped for the fun times ahead. Fleeting Youth Records is bringing a ton of great bands down to Austin in March for the annual SXSW festival. One of those promising up and coming bands is Philly punk rockers Mumblr. Painted Palms is a band that we’ve really gotten into over the last year with their upbeat, catchy singles that are continually ringing in our ears. To say we’re excited to see the group during SXSW would be a major understatement. We’re pumped. Founding father of the band Chris Prudhomme was kind enough to answer our burning questions and his responses can be found below.
