The 1981 Announce New 7″

You deserve to crank up your speakers for this one; you’ll want to feel the blast of the riffs melting your face. But, don’t think of the new single from the 1981 as a “one-trick pony,” as it’s definitely more than its power-pop parts. Sure, that’s all in there, particularly if you’re diving into the verses here, but you can find a little bit of jangling brightness and old school alt rock mixing it all up inside. When they turn the sugary sweetness up around the 2:28 mark, you’re going to rush out and grab their new 7″ from Dandy Boy Records…it’ll be out on August 29th.
