Ghost Party Share Floating Kiss

Houstonian outfit Ghost Party have something afoot, with this being their second song in as many months. I love the Texas swagger in the song, as it’s a definite reminder of the balladry that many of us grew up enjoying with our parents. The drum work plays really lightly throughout, brushed across the gentle strum of the acoustic guitar as pianos build in a powerful texture. Softened backing vocals further the texturizing of the tune, giving an accompanying melody that lifts the tune’s spirits as the bass walks us through until the end.
