As the year winds to a close, we get some excellent news that the esteemed Canadian label, Mint Records, will be reissuing Cub‘s Come Out Come Out for a special 30th Anniversary Edition. The group have remastered the tunes for a special vinyl release, while also reordering the album so it has a slightly different flow. You can stream the new version of “New York City,” which doesn’t sound like a track that’s 30 years old, especially as the fuzzy playfulness that courses through the song is an ever-present sound in our listening rotation.
