As I’m seeking a bit of solace in the listening rotation this week, this Jaco Jaco track works perfectly for the vibe I’m seeking. Both the music and vocals sounds feathered, lightly brushing your ears from the moment that drum roll snaps into play. While I love Jacob’s voice, and its seeming weightlessness, the careful details of the accompanying music really cemented the joy in this song. You’ll get a wash of ambiance, some light strums, but the percussive elements spring some life carefully into the background. This is the perfect bit of dreaming pop that you need in your day; On the Levee is out July 10th.
