Another Cindy Tune

While my head’s been buried in more urgent matters, I totally missed this new track from Cindy that blew through last week. It’s probably fair, as musically, the group drifts through like a San Francisco breeze, though there are some cool little nuanced notes in here that really drew me into its depths. Listen around the 1 minute mark and you’ll hear almost a heavier vocal note coming through, if only for a brief moment. Throughout, Karina Gill’s performance nears spoken word, and the whispered voice encourages you to pull your ear nearer to your speakers…and then its just you and the record…the best way to listen here. Another Country is out on Tough Love on May 1st.
