SXSW Interviews: Bad Moves

Is everyone else starting to pick up the SXSW fever? This time last week, I really wasn’t, but now I’m beginning to feel that itch, that desire for the week to get here already. Of course it helps that Nate Dawg and myself have the entire week off from work, so yeah… Anyway, I’m carrying the torch of SXSW interviews today with a quick and easy one from Washington D.C. based ATH faves Bad Moves. Strap in and check out the responses after the jump.

SXSW Interview: Say Sue Me

In just over a month, people from all over the world will be traveling into Austin to grab some tacos and share their music. I’m really excited to see Say Sue Me, as you never know how many chances you’ll get to see your favorite Korean pop group. For many of us, if not most of us, this will be our first chance to hear the tracks off their forthcoming album, Where We Were Together (4/13). If I had to curate a Top Ten for the festival, this group would be pretty high on my list, like a number 2 spot. We tossed them our little interview questions and they shot back with the answers below. You can hear their latest single, and see their dates down there too! Read more

We here at ATH are now counting down the weeks to yet another party time at Austin City Limits Festival. Already we’ve shared an interview with White Reaper and Nicole told us about 5 things she’s most looking forward to over the weekend. Today I move us forward with a sweet interview from L.A. based rock duo Deap Vally. Hit the jump for full interview.

SXSW Awards – 2017

How is it possible we’re already through SXSW hangover week? It seems like only yesterday the ATH crew was hanging at Hotel Vegas, with Lone Star in hand, kicking off the week a couple of Sundays ago with the awesome lineup put together by Nathan and our boy Mr. Laird. As always, we move on, reflect on the fun behind us, and plan for the next great lineup or festival. Such is the beauty of living in the live music capital of the world. To look back on the festival, Nathan, Brian, and myself came up with an arbitrary list of awards with each of us picking our choice for the category.

Hit the jump for our awards, final thoughts and a few related pics from a fun, exciting, and draining week.
