A few years removed from their last record, Big Plans for a Blue World, Cardiff outfit Wylderness return with a wonderful Monday morning single for your ears. I’m definitely infatuated with the guitar sound, primarily the way it dances into the opening moments, setting the tone for the rhythm to join and add their emphatic touch. Each vocal note seems to hang in the air, waiting to fall upon the listener’s ears. The balance between those angular ringing guitar lines and the angelic vocals is the perfect balance, creating that natural sense of longing to be part of something greater than yourself…the perfect Monday offering.
