Widowspeak Share No Driver

For over 15 years, Widowspeak have always been a personal favorite; I felt like they’ve always been on the cusp of being massively adored, and if ever there was a time, this new single is that moment. There’s a natural sense of longing in the guitar, which is one of the world’s favorite musical sentiments; that loneliness seems to embrace our private thoughts, tugging at our heartstrings as the song bounces along. Molly Hamiltion’s voice has this well-worn smokiness, perfectly suited to set up those guitar riffs as they dance their solo through your speakers. Maybe it’s the familiarity with the group, or maybe it’s just great songwriting, but I feel like this song should be playing the rest of the day! Roses it out on June 5th via Captured Tracks.
