While we’ve covered plenty of Jason Balla’s work over the years, wether that be Ne-Hi or Dehd, but I’m really digging on the direction of the new stuff from his solo work as Accessory. This new single feels like its moving the project into that psychedelic style that made bands like Spiritualized an ATH favorite; it has hints of gospel in the presentation, though it’s filling the shadows with cascading guitars and lopping pianos, adding a textural layer that deepens the emotional pull.
