5 Bands To See @ Fun Fest: Friday
Fun Fun Fun Fest is here everybody! As excited as we know everyone is, it’s important to have some sort of plan before you head out to the festival each day. Before you head out, we thought we might give you some recommendations for the day just in case your head is about to explode when trying to decide who you should see. We shall alleviate your pain with the top 5 bands you should make a point to see each day. Now this is by no means a conclusive list and all festival goers should check the full lineup to accomodate their discerning taste. In our mind, these are five bands that you don’t dare miss today! Follow the jump for Friday recs.
This up and coming indie-punk band is playing early and should not be missed. Their lives shows are known for being rowdy and full of live energy. I think that sounds right up our alley. Check out Nathan’s preview of the band for more information.

I recently featured Cursive in a Fun Fest preview and said why I love them so much. This is a no brainer for me and I will end our friendship if you don’t feel the same way. This band is not to be missed.
2:35 Pm – Orange Stage

This is another veteran band that has earned their fame through years of stellar live shows and incredible albums. From what I’m hearing, this is a band that most people would agree is one of the “can’t miss bands” of the weekend. We’re pumped for this set today.
6:50PM – Orange Stage

As you can see, ATH is all about the veteran acts that the Fun Fest bookers did an amazing job bringing into the lineup this year. Against Me! has been through a lot this year in the tabloids/blogs, but that doesn’t change the fact that we know they can rock your face off.
7:05Pm – Black Stage

Everyone can use a little comedy in their life and this is my top comedy pic of the whole weekend. We don’t venture towards the comedy stage too often, but damn, Fun Fest did an awesome job snagging Hannibal to make us all laugh our asses off.
4:45pm – Yellow Stage
Check out Hannibal discussing why you shouldn’t cry during the movie UP.
Nites pic – Lucero, Pujol, and Frank Smith @ Club Deville (Free with your FFFfest Wristband)
We’re going to head to Club Deville since we won’t be seeing Lucero today and Pujol isn’t on the Fun Fest lineup. Pujol will really surprise you live and come highly recommended from this guy.
See you at the festival! Who are you excited to see?
